Our development delivery teams run SCRUM and we work with Quality Assurance and Business Analysts to make sure we deliver the best possible outcomes for our customers.

What will you be doing

  • Help grow and improve our flagship app which is used by more than 600 customers worldwide with approximately 8000 users.
  • Help build and maintain our growing portfolio of bespoke apps and integrations.
  • Mentoring and guidance of other team members.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, SME’s and Quality assurance professionals to achieve the best outcome of all work.
  • Be part of transforming us into a true product team with centralised access for our customers to all our products and solutions.

Key Skills Required

  • At least 5 years experience in one of the following, and willingness to learn the other
    • Angular typescript experience  
    • .NET (especially .NET core) ideally with experience with Azure functions
  • Ability to work in
    • an Agile Team running SCRUM.
    • Working in a highly collaborative environment and bringing your skills to the table to uplift and upskill the whole team.
  • A Bachelors degree in IT or a relevant degree OR more than 8 years experience in IT

Additional Skills that would be an advantage

  • Experience doing integrations between various backend systems via API and other methods.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Azure Cloud technologies
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL
  • Experience with Cordova.

Our Team Culture

While we currently are mostly working from home, the team is eager to get back to the office. Morning coffee runs, Friday afternoon drinks and occasional lunches at the pub across the road are all part of working at Biscit. We also like to play in the 5 a side soccer league around the corner from the office when COVID allows.

You will be working in one of our delivery teams. The teams are kept small (no more than 4 developers) intentionally to maximise collaboration. Both project work and smaller pieces of work is assigned to these teams to complete.

We are looking for someone to join the team who is energetic, enthusiastic and actively seeking that next all important opportunity. A strong customer service focus, a keen desire to learn and an ability to actively contribute to a team is essential for success in this role. As a Biscit Consultant, you will participate in consulting engagements and assume responsibility for performing implementation tasks and producing quality deliverables.

As a member of our team, your tasks will include:

  • Building relationships with Clients
  • Listening to clients and translating their business needs to functional solutions
  • Providing advice on industry ‘best practice’ while taking into account a Client’s specific requirements
  • Preparing quality, comprehensive Design Documentation for proposed solutions
  • Implementing & delivering systems based on above
  • Quality analysis on solutions
  • Troubleshooting systems for/ with Clients
  • Provide formal and informal training for Clients
  • Work effectively in a team to achieve common goals
  • Actively participate in daily and adhoc team meetings
  • Engage in continuous education at a technical and industry level

Highly desired competencies for this role include:

  • Track record of leadership and mentoring
  • Passion for understanding processes and creating solutions
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Methodical, organised and process driven
  • Ability to manage many competing priorities
  • Effectively communicate (oral and written) with various stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of financial concepts, Tertiary qualification an advantage
  • 10+ years consulting experience in the ERP
  • Ideally experience with or knowledge of Epicor ERP, or other equivalent ERP
